Prince Charming Costumes
Prince Charming will appear in many books, the choice is yours from Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Repunzel. A Prince Charming Costume normally consists of a Georgian style coat, frilly shirt, pantaloons and a hat.
Dwarf
Normally associated with Snow White but also make an appearance in the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Costume normally consists of a hat, tunic, trousers, neck scarf and a belt.
Wolf
Normally associated with Red Riding Hood but also the 3 Little Pigs. Character normally is a fierce looking animal and may not be suitable for teachers to wear for a school book week costume. Ugly Sisters / Pantomine Dame
A fun theme for a man to dress up to. A chance to wear garish make up, huge wigs, and fantastic dresses. Not for the feint hearted, but great fun can be had!
Peter Pan
A story written by JM Barrie. Peter Pan is usually played by a female in a stage version but can be worn by men as well. Normally a green tunic and trousers are worn with a hat and a bow and arrow (in fact a Robin Hood type of costume will be fine)
Captain Hook
Captain Hook is the villain in Peter Pan. There have been a few adaptions made to the costume but generally a Georgian style frock coat, pantaloons, frilly shirt, large hat and boots are worn. A curly ringlet wig, moustache and of course, a hook all finish off the costume.
Smee
Captain Hook's henchman. An easy costume to put together or to purchase. A torn or stripped top, torn trousers and a belt are all you need.
Crocodile
The Crocodile in Peter Pan is after Captain Hook. He has already eaten one of his hands (hence the hook) and is after the rest. Crocodile can make Captain Hook tremble like a jelly. Costume normally available to hire only.

Mad Hatter
A character from 'Alice in Wonderland'. This costume could possibly be made up from an old tail coat, waistcoat, trousers and top hat. The top hat needs a sign that states 2/6 on the side. Costumes are available to hire but you would probably need to adapt a purchased one.
King Of Hearts
From 'Alice in Wonderland'. Not many costumes available to buy but you should be able to adapt a King type costume to suit this character.
White Rabbit
From 'Alice in Wonderland'. Costumes are available to purchase or hire for this character. Face Bobs are also proving popular as you can speak, eat and a drink with them on.
Harry Potter
From 'Harry Potter'. Licensed costumes are available and are proving a popular choice to wear at school book week. Costume consists of a hooded, black robe. The wand can also be purchased, if required. A kit is available that includes the robe, glasses, wand and tattoos.
Robin Hood Costumes
The legend himself. Fact or fiction the debate continues. However, Robin is normally shown in various films as wearing a green or brown tunic, trousers and hat. He always carries a bow and arrow. Some brave souls may wear the tunic only and then put thick tights on their legs. Robin Hood costumes will vary but if you follow th elink before this costume provides really good value for money and has proved very popular in our fancy dress shop.
Friar Tuck
From 'Robin Hood'. Costume normally comprises of a medieval style Friar or Monk robe and a cross. The monk's wig will finish the character off very well. We have a large range of monk costumes to purchase.
