Did you enjoy yourselves yesterday? We certainly did. We would like to thank everyone who
came along to our Battlesbridge for getting involved (even those who just turned up to hire costumes or buy accessories) for helping to make it such a Great Day.
If you didn’t have the time to get involved and want to know what happened, over the next few weeks we will be posting blogs and pictures on our website, so keep checking back.
As we had so many heroes helping us yesterday, we thought that having a ‘Heroes’ fancy dress theme would be apt today.

This coming week, we are expecting an outbreak of Heroes and Villains parties, as the new Batman film ‘The Dark Knight’ goes on general release on July 15th. Although people may tend to focus on the superheroes of movies and comics when working with this theme, there are plenty of other costume opportunities, such as historical heroes and villains, goodies and baddies from the movies, or what about current celebrities? Some celebrities may not have any particular costume associated with them, but as we were mentioning at the start of the week, we do have some fantastic celebrity masks, and with the start of the Olympics now less than a fortnight away, many of these feature some of our great sporting heroes and heroines. Villains may be a bit more difficult to come by.
