Talking of Roll Models, what do Jennifer Lopez, Lynda Carter and Amelia Earhart have in common? Well, they were all born on this date, although obviously in different years, 1969, 1951 & 1897, respectively. Aside from that they are all female role models, with Lynda Carter as ‘Wonder Woman’ probably being one of the most requested when it comes to costumes for female heroines. There has been talk of a Wonder Woman movie for the last year or so, with several prestigious names involved, but so far nothing has got off the ground. The situation was probably not helped when a new WW TV show in the US was cancelled early. Meanwhile here at Props & Frocks, if Wonder Woman is your girl, we can offer the outfit in a range of styles from the conventional style to a new corset-based design.Take a look at all of our superhero costumes. If Amelia Earhart is your flight of fancy, we have a few aviatrix outfit (a few with goggles, a look that is very ‘in’ thanks to the new Catwoman and the steampunk trend) and as for Jennifer Lopez, she hasn’t had too many notable costumed roles (although ‘The Cell’ was unusual), so if you’ve got the bod, just work on looking fabulous.
