St Patrick’s Day Costumes

Today, it is all about our friends from Ireland celebrating St Patricks (Paddys) day for our fancySt Patricks Day Costume Ideas dress theme.

We have to say that even when it isn’t on a Saturday, this date and saint seems to get a lot more support and party celebration than some other country’s saints we could mention (although the George Cross gear  will doubtless be getting a fair amount of airing in the next few months). As we were saying earlier in the week, costume-wise for St Patrick it is usually variations on the Leprechaun, but some might take it as an excuse for a celebration with a green-related keynote. At Props & Frocks we have a great range of St Patrick merchandise. So, whether you need party goods, green wigs or hats, or a leprechaun (or two) why not get in touch?

Well if you using the colours of green and orange, you could always wear …

  • Green Fairy Costumes
  • Green or Orange Morph suits
  • Poison Ivy Costume
  • Wicked Witch of The West
  • Fiona
  • Shrek
  • Kermit The Frog
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume
  • Pumpkins
  • American Prisoner

Alternatively, why not look at some famous Irish people…

  • Jonjo O’Neil – Jockey costume
  • Michael Gambon
  • Samantha Mumba

St Patrick’s Day Fancy Dress Theme

Of course, today we had to celebrate with an Irish or St. Patrick’s day fancy dress theme Irish Leprechaun Costumes

Ireland and the colours Green and Orange are the themes today as we and others around the world celebrate St Patrick’s Day. (The Irish-Americans get especially enthusiastic, turning rivers green and holding parades to mark the day).  Now we might not be able to offer rainbows and pots of gold, but at Props n Frocks you can certainly find the odd leprechaun costume or two (we also have a few conventional ones plus some in the current saucy style). Similarly we can offer a wide range of thematic decorations to suit the occasion including variations on the other icon of the Irish, the shamrock. Oh, and you might find it necessary to have a drink or two. Although that’s a little beyond our remit, we can offer the traditional toast ‘As you slide down the banisters of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way’. Cheers!

So, apart from the obvious Leprechaun costumes, what else can we off you?
