Comic Book Characters is a great nostalgic fancy dress theme. Comics are dying out now but I remember waiting for Saturday morning to arrive as I would get my weekly comic ‘Misty’, nobody here has ever heard of it, but I loved it. So what comic did you get?

A lot of our traditional  superhero costumes started their lives in a comic book and this also gives a whole range of costumes that would be a great couples costume idea. I also remember my brothers having a comic, I think called Scoot or Scoop, I am sure it was based on football, so if you are not so keen on dressing up in a fancy dress costume, you could also just wear a football kit.
