June 28th sees the anniversary of the birth of Richard Rogers in 1902. This prolific composer is famous for his work with Lorenz Hart, Oscar Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim, and is responsible for such classic musicals as ‘Oklahoma’, ‘South Pacific’ and ‘The Sound of Music’. Given that another composer Frank Loesser (‘Guys and Dolls’) was born June 29th 1910, now might be a good time to choose Musicals as a theme.
