Superheros Fancy Dress Costumes
The theme of superheros remains strong. Many new characters have now became available in the UK market. Superheros are covered by licensing laws and we will only sell costumes that have been licensed for sale in this country.

We would recommend that men buy the next size up as most of the male superhero costumes will be a jumpsuit. If this suit is too tight, lets just say he will not be very comfortable!

Super Girl

From the film 'Supergirl' (1984). Helen Slater played the lead role. Most costumes consist of a top with a cape and skirt. A sexy version is available.


Bat Girl
Bat Girl is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. There are varied costumes available from jumpsuits to a sexy version.


Catwoman
Catwoman has been represented by various costumes. Probably the most famous costume is similar to the one as played by Halle Berry in 2004. The character, Catwoman, first appeared alongside Batman in 1940. Michelle Pfeiffer portrayed the character in 1992's popular film Batman Returns. Catwoman started with just a theatrical cat-mask . Later, she wore a dress with a hood that came with ears. In the 1960s, Catwoman's bodysuit was green in colour, which was typical of villains of that era. In the 1990s, she usually wore a skintight purple jumpsuit, before switching to a black leather outfit that recalls Michelle Pfeiffer's costume


Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. She first appeared in 1941. Lynda Cater starred as the lead in the television show 1975 - 1979. A movie is planned. Wonder Woman's costume normally consists of a dress that looks like a top and skirt, although separates are also available


Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is the Joker's girlfriend. In the latest licensed costume, she wears a red and black harlequin designed jumpsuit with a jester like hat and black mask.


Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. She first appeared in 1966 and is an arch enemy to Batman. She is a red haired, green skinned villain. Costumes that are available are limited to a green jumpsuit which give the impression of green skin and leaves.


Spider Girl

Spider Girl is the daughter of Spiderman. Her costume is similar and is a jumpsuit with a mask. A new film has been released.

Superman
Superman is a fictional character based on a character from the Marvel Comics. Kirk Alyn played Superman first in the 1940s, George Reeves played the lead in the 1950s. The first Superman film was released in 1978 and was played by Christopher Reeve. The costume has not changed much over the years. Superman wears a tight fitting blue jumpsuit with a large cape. Red underpants are worn over the trousers.


Zorro
Zorro was first created in 1919. His costume has not changed over the years and consists of a black shirt, trousers, cape, mask and wide brimmed hat. Antonio Banderas played the lead in 1998 (Mask Of Zorro) and then in 2005 (Legend Of Zorro)


Batman
Batman is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. The character made his first appearance in 1939. Batman became a very popular television series in the 1960s. The first film was released in 1989 starring Michael Keaton. The batman costume has changed over the years. In the earlier years a light grey jumpsuit with black underpants (worn over the trousers) and a cape are worn. In later versions, the character looks more sinister in a black jumpsuit, cowl hood, and a black scalloped hemmed cape.


The Flash
The Flash is a fictional comic book character published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in 1940. The costume has now been updated and comprises a red tight fitting jumpsuit and a mask.


Spiderman
Spiderman was released as a film based on the Marvel comic's character is 2002. Tobey Maguire plays the lead. Spiderman first appeared in the comic in 1962. The costume is a tight fitting jumpsuit in red and blue and comes with an overhead mask.


Mr. Fantastic
Mr. Fantastic is a fictional character, a Marvel Comics superhero and is the leader of the Fantastic Four. The character first appeared in 1961. The costume consists of a blue tight fitting jumpsuit with white gloves and boots.


Captain America

Captain America is a fictional comic-book superhero in the Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in 1941. The costume is tight fitting, blue jumpsuit with the American Stars and Stripes detailing. A mask is also worn.
