Hopefully you all had a good time last week, but for many people it is now back to a normal working week, unless you are taking time off for Euro 2012, which this year is being hosted by Poland and the Ukraine and runs from June 8th until July 1st.

Over the past few weeks our patriotic merchandise and face paints/make-up have been selling well, and we anticipate this is likely to continue in the forthcoming weeks, particularly when the Torch Relay hits Essex in just under a month’s time on July 6^th & 7^th.   We should also mention the number of requests we have been getting for Ancient Times costumes, particularly when it comes to the Ancient Greeks. We think this can also be attributed to the Olympics, as school children seem to have been learning about the history behind the games and getting involved with special events when the Torch Relay comes to their part of the country.
